GARMENT CARE
Here are some care instructions to help keep your items in good condition.

SILK CARE

-
Wash vintage silk separately in cool water only without harsh chemicals or bleach.
-
Do not ring garments as it may cause damage to the fibres.
-
Gently squeeze water out and dry in the shade.
-
Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
-
The silk will crinkle once dried. Some people prefer the look of crinkled silk.
-
If you would like it to be smooth or to make it a tad larger, use a warm iron carefully to relax it back to size.
JEWELLERY CARE

-
Sterling Silver can be cleaned with a silver polishing cloth gently.
-
Silver plated jewellery can also be gently wiped with a silver polishing cloth, however over polishing will eventually remove the silver to reveal the base metal underneath.
-
Semi precious stones all vary in their hardness and porosity so care should always be taken to avoid getting wet.
-
Adjustable ring bands can be shaped to ones finger by gently manoeuvring to size.
VINTAGE TEXTILES

-
Vintage tribal textiles require gentle care to avoid damage.
-
Care should be taken with embellishments such as mirrors, coins and sequins so not to drop and smash.
-
Take special care when wearing mirror embellished bags and straps, as they may scratch oneself or other items.
-
Avoid washing vintage textiles if possible, wipe with a damp cloth if necessary.
APPLIQUE CARE

-
If possible avoid washing items with appliques.
-
If washing is required, cold hand wash with gentle soap and natural dry in the shade.
-
Place a towel over the applique whilst using a warm iron to avoid damage to sequins.
